Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 1.5 cups dahi
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sendha namak sendha salt
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 chopped green chilies

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Set aside.
  2. Mix the dahi with water in a separate bowl. Keep stirring continuously until a smooth and creamy texture forms.
  3. Add the aloo cubes and mix with sendha salt.
  4. In a separate pan, heat ghee. Add the cumin seeds and fry until the seeds darken in color to a brown shade.

  5. Add the green chillies and stir.
  6. Now pour this hot oil with the cumin seeds and green chillies on the dahi. Cover with lid immediately. When the oil cools down, take off the lid and mix the aloo with the oil.
