Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic crushed
  • 1 Green chili halved
  • 1/2 cup Capsicum diced
  • 1 cup Spinach chopped
  • 1/4 cup Mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup Coriander
  • 1/2 cup Green peas boiled
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 cup Potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1/2 cup Lettuce
  • 2 tbsp Cheese spread
  • 4 Whole wheat roti or chapati

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan and once it's hot, add chopped onions. Once translucent, add green chili and garlic.
  2. Mix well and add capsicum. Now add spinach, mint, coriander and peas. Mix well.
  3. After a couple of minutes, add salt, black pepper powder and cardamom powder.
  4. Mix well. Switch off the gas and let the mixture cool down a bit.
  5. Blend together into a coarse mix. Add boiled potatoes, red chili powder, garam masala and chaat masala.
  6. Mix well and form tikkis. Shallow fry the tikkis until crisp and done.
  7. On a whole wheat roti, spread some cheese spread. Add some lettuce.
  8. Place a shami kebab on top. Spread some more cheese spread and wrap it tightly with an aluminum foil or butter paper.
  9. Serve hot or pack it in the lunch box.
