Ingredients
- 4 pieces potatoes boiled
- 1 cup curd
- 4 pieces green chilies slit lengthwise
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 3/4 tbsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp ginger grated
- pinch salt as per taste
- Jeera
Instructions

Take boiled potatoes in a bowl and roughly mash them (don’t make a paste )

Heat oil in a pan.

Add the jeera, when it start crackling, add slit green chilies and saute for a few seconds.

Remove the pan from the flame and add all the powdered spices (turmeric,chili powder,coriander powder)

Immediately add boiled potatoes and ginger and mix.

Put the pan on the gas and add beaten curd and stir once

Add approx 1.5 to 2 cups of water (depends on how thick curry you prefer)

Now add salt and let it boil on medium flame .

Keep stirring in between to avoid curdling.

Cook for approx 3-4 minutes on medium flame.

When it starts to thicken then add chopped fresh coriander and serve hot with chapati.

- Consistency of Gravy: If you prefer a thinner gravy, you can add more water or a little milk to adjust the consistency.
- Spices: The spices in this dish are adjustable according to your taste. You can add more green chilies for extra heat or use less red chili powder if you prefer a milder flavor.
- Yogurt: To prevent the yogurt from curdling, ensure that the heat is low when you add it to the pan. Stir the yogurt constantly when adding it to the mixture.
