- Add vegetables: You can add finely chopped vegetables like spinach, grated carrots, or finely diced onions to the dough for extra flavor and nutrition.
- For extra softness: Adding a little yogurt to the dough helps make the roti softer. If you don’t have yogurt, a little milk can also work.
- Storage: Masala roti is best served hot, but you can store it in an airtight container for a day. Reheat them on a tawa or in the microwave before serving.
Serving Suggestions:
- Curries: Masala Roti pairs beautifully with rich curries like Paneer Butter Masala, Aloo Gobi, Chana Masala, or Baingan Bharta.
- Dal: It also goes well with dal tadka, moong dal, or toor dal for a wholesome meal.
- Raita: A side of raita (yogurt with cucumber, mint, or boondi) can balance the heat of the spices and complement the flavors of the roti.
